How I Use It
I had this installed in the computer lab at my K-5 building. Students in 1-5 have all used Scratch. Students can learn through self-exploration, but only to a point. Then direct instruction needed to occur and then further exploration after that. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials online to get students started. You can also print out the beginning of a script as a scaffold for students. The students absolutely loved it and it really does make you think like a programmer.
