Remind allows for simple opportunities to stay in contact with families. Signing up is quick and easy and a teacher with multiple classes can easily set up a class for each section they teach. Sending messages in 140 characters or less helps focus the message being sent. Teachers can also send an attachment with a Remind message- perfect for project guidelines, rubrics, and newsletters!
How I Use It
I use Remind to keep in contact with parents and students on a daily basis. While I still expect and hope that students continue to use an agenda book to keep track of their assignments and upcoming important school dates, I use Remind to make sure everyone, including parents and guardians, are all on the same page. Communication is key to an informed learning environment and Remind makes it easy to communicate.
