My Take

I think that overall this product is excellent. Something that could be viewed as a pro or a con is that the student/parent can not reply to your reminders. Also, you are not able to remind one person of something. The minimum reminder you can send out is to three people. It would be nice to remind Johnny individually to bring in his late essay; although I understand why the app doesn't allow individual reminders.

How I Use It

I use this app to remind students of due dates, homework, or if the class is in a different location. It is excellent because it texts the students assigned to your class. You can make your class as big or small as you want---all of your students, by grade, or by mod. The students and/or parents will then send a text to your class' access code and they will receive text reminders from the app. It is great because you can send reminders to the students from the website or app. You can even schedule reminders to be sent later, so you can set up a reminder on your planning period to go out at 7 o'clock that evening.
