I like that you can explain the tool and then use the tool hands on to see how well students perform when they are reading. This could help clear up more broad topics that children are not understanding and practice is huge for this app. Without practice children do not gain the knowledge they need to comprehend what they are reading.
How I Use It
I would use this product to help children learn about specific literary concepts and reading comprehension. The stories provide sight words and phonetics that the children can learn/practice.

Great passage readings that are short and informative!
Really enjoyed this site. My son enjoyed the being able to control the speed of the reading to his preference and made it easier for him to read along. They were not super long stories but they were short enough to be informative and provide some room for dialogue and questions.

Wonderful high interest leveled reading passages for educators!!!
ReadWorks is a great online tool for reading comprehension resources. It has a great variety of leveled high interest fiction and nonfiction articles. I love the question sets that are featured with some articles. This could be improved by adding reading passages based on current events. Overall, this is a great resource for educators!
