My Take

I like the independence that students can experience as they navigate choices. Have to monitor students to make sure they are not just rushing through and not really reading. I use this resource as part of homework because it is available anywhere as an on-line app or computer website.

How I Use It

I use this program daily as part of the listening option during Daily5.Lots of nonfiction. Students can listen to a fluent reader. Reading can be stopped and student can repeat the phrasing to practice for fluency. there is a running record option which can be very time efficient for teachers. quiz results can be used as a screener for further investigation for comprehension weaknesses. Great record keeping tools for monitoring progress.
