My Take

RaiseMe is very accessible, and extremely helpful for students as both motivation and reward. It encourages early college planning, and strong academic performance, by offering monetary incentives. The micro-scholarships are also a great and quick way to help students who may be financially struggling. It's a very accessible form of financial aid, and has a great network of colleges that can help guide students who may not be sure of what to do yet. The website has a very sleek and simple UI that is easy to navigate.

How I Use It

This tool is something that I would use as both motivation and inspiration for students. By showcasing it, students would be able to find out how they could earn scholarship money through simpler means, and also get information on the college application process, and what options they have. While not the subject of a lesson on its own, I think it would be appropriate for teachers to mention to students regardless.
