My Take

I really enjoy this tool. Students love to practice on their own, and are always asking me to create vocabulary sets so they can practice and review. They DEPEND on this tool. Some students take the initiative to make their own sets. And they absolutely LOVE to play this game in class to review before tests and quizzes.

How I Use It

Quizlet is an amazing tool for reviewing vocabulary, especially in a world-language classroom. Students can work individually, using a variety of different tools like flashcards, listening, spelling, dictation, and best of all... games! They can also play a high-energy, fun, team game called Quizlet Live, in which the teacher can set the students into teams that work together to quickly tackle a list of vocabulary terms.

Life saver

Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging

Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
