My Take

As a teaching tool, the service is very limited in extended. On Webb's pyramid, the only level that it effects is Recall and Reproduction (possibly Concepts). For pure vocabulary and art history ID usage, it's great. The built-in narration that the teacher can add, gives it a little more usage. The community that is attached to Quizlet is great and provides a number of sets that can be used and added to everyday. It would be nice, if the service incorporated more games. The ability to download and print flashcards through multiple formats, makes it useful.

How I Use It

I use this product to reinforce vocabulary and art history identifications through flashcards and games. I usually set a threshold for scores on the games to achieve extra credit on quizzes and tests. I like that Quizlet has built-in pronunciation and also allows the teacher to add their narration. Also the ability to share the sets with your class is great for organization. The Quizlet app is also great. Lastly, the amount of public sets can help save time by having what you need already produced.
