My Take
It will be a great tool for students who need to make flashcards but if a student does not have technology access outside of school, usage would be very limited. Not all students will use this method for flashcard creation but it is a great option for some students.
How I Use It
As this new school year begins and my students start trying to learn science vocabulary, this will be a new way for students to create flashcards to study. Some students will make flashcards using index cards but others prefer to use technology to create their cards. This will provide those technology minded students an option for creating flashcards.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
