My Take

Quizlet is an easy to use, quick to set up tool for teachers. I used it to have students review chemical elements and types of chemical reactions. It only took me about 15 minutes to set up the quiz and students were able to use it the next day. Students can not only use the flash cards that are created online - but there are games that are created that keep the students more engaged. There are also hundreds of ready-made quizzes on the site for you to use.

How I Use It

I used the site for review of topics and I even had students take a quiz on the site. The downfall to having them take the quiz on the site is that you have to walk around to get their scores once they have completed the quiz. This site is better used for studying and reviewing concepts.

Life saver

Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

Its a great resource as a teaching tool as it helps teachers emphasize on main important concepts in classes and can be used to benefit student performance.

makes flashcards way more engaging

Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
