My Take
One of the many different representations of the material. Serves well to study to memorize terms. It also reads the terms as you study. You may record your own voice giving students the opportunity to listen to the correct pronunciation when using foreign languages material. Mutiple ways of self assesing yourself.
How I Use It
Quizzlet provides students one of the many pedagogical tools to study. Within the site, students self assess their progress and knowledge. teachers are able to track students who enter the class.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
