My Take
I put all of my study guides on our account for the students to use in class or on their own. It takes some time, but once a review is up it is there for posterity. The kids can also create their own reviews. The downside is, teachers cannot control the distractors on practice tests and the site/app isn't particularly effective in doing so on its own.
How I Use It
I use it mainly for test reviews and practice tests. There are also games for students to play while studying.

Life saver
Quizlet is a great way to prepare and study for a test. Personally, I have used it many times in preparation for an exam and it has never let me down. I will say that Quizlet is most helpful when you have to memorize; their flashcards make it easy to go through material fast. It's a bit disappointing you know have to pay for certain features that used to be free, which is why my review is not a full 5 stars. But Quizlet certainly has been there for me during exam season.

makes flashcards way more engaging
Quizlet is a great resource as a teaching tool because it allows students to become more engaged in the learning process because it is more interactive than traditional flashcards. Additionally, students can choose which type of review activity works best for them which helps set them up for success. There is also an option to start a live review game for the entire class which creates competition and reinforces the key terms.
