My Take
This is a great resource to use in the classroom. I would appreciate if we could get a placement test at the end of June to compare the beginning and end of the year with the same resource. Students enjoy this resource. Prodigy English needs a placement test and the students have the opportunity to just move around without answering questions. (This is not possible with Prodigy Math as other creatures will approach you)
How I Use It
I use Prodigy for early finishers, as a math centre that students can do independently or if I want to change up our assessments. My students are quick to log in and play once they are first shown how. It is self directed for the students and I can set what topics I want them working on. I really appreciate the Placement assessments in the fall and again in January.
