As a mom, I worry about it labeling kiddos in second grade as emerald (or doing 4th grade math). Many of the tasks are closed computation tasks that do not build conceptual understanding.

My Take

I worry that it is acceleration students into grade level math they may not be developmentally ready for. There are not great instructional tools for them to support them as they work through tasks. I do like that there are models and tools they can use to complete each problem, but the tasks are closed computational tasks so the tools don't always match.
