My Take

It's a free tool that does have a pay-for-bonus package, which is nice, but not necessary to get all of the benefits out of it. The reports are given to teachers and parents for free, which is an important aspect of a game that I use in my classroom. Parents can sign up for memberships, and although it is promoted in game, I have played this along with my students and never felt like the advertising is over-the-top. Any product that is fun, free (or reasonably priced), and highly educational is considered a valuable resource to me.
