My Take

I really love that I can personalize assignments to each student and then see how they did on individual questions. I love how interactive the game is and how excited my students become to 'battle' each other; when really they are practicing math. I wish that the hints could be set up by the teacher so that students do not rely too heavily on them. I also wish there were a method of being proactive against students guessing to find the answer (not that I have many that do this). This application is amazing and I look foward to setting up an assignment for over the summer!

How I Use It

This application is extremely helpful to my students that are part of a district in recievership from the state. I have students that 'hate' math that beg me to 'play' Prodigy. I use this tool to reinforce, during intervention time, what is learned in class. I have also set assignments to fill in some learning gaps (going to lower grade level standards to assist students that need more practice and interventions)
