My Take
I love using Prodigy! The kids are always excited to play which gives them many more positive experiences with math than some kids who struggle might normally have. It is so easy to align it with what I am teaching or use as an assessment tool after a unit. Prodigy has also given me more ways to "gameify" math in my classroom when I use it for a whole group instruction tool!
How I Use It
I use Prodigy for many things! It is super easy to differentiate what students are working on, and the kids LOVE being able to play! I have used it for homework, independent work, group work, and even as a whole group lesson from time to time! There is always maximum student engagement when Prodigy is involved!

This game was unhelpful.
This game is absolutely ridiculous and doesn't teach anything. This game is also pushing REAL LIFE CURRENCY memberships. and the game is completely scrambled. This is a mistake to assign your children/students to this Un educational game.

They won’t stop billing
It is very basic and does have some advantages as a way to get your child / student to do something meaningful that can be tracked while “playing” on a device. However, I would not recommend this company, it has been a nightmare to cancel the membership that has not been used since January 2020. Countless attempts and the 74.95 charge shows up twice a year on my card. It’s absurd I spend time and effort to get cancel and get a refund …then a few months later it’s back on my Amex.

I love using Prodigy Math with my students! It gets them learning while engaging in a fun game where they can interact with their peers.
Using Prodigy Math is so easy! It requires very little effort on my part and provides a fun way to learn and practice math skills for my students.
