My Take
Overall, this teaching tool is rather interesting and useful. First of all, the pictures, images, scenes, and colors used in it are very interesting and cute and they are suitable for children. They will be interested in the games and videos. Then, this website does a good job in the instruction and when playing the game, it will make a character to guide children. Also, I am excited to see that the video can have the captions and this is very friendly to children whose listening skill is not so good. Finally, this teaching tool is built without biases since we can see that characters in it are of different races and this can teach children to embrace diversity.
How I Use It
I have not used this with students, but I think that this website is very easy to be understood and used by the target group of children and it can help students better know how to deal with some practical problems. For example, in the game "The Alma Train", the child needs to control the train and then take the person in the game to specific destination and he has to solve the problems encountered in this process. I think that this can be a chance for children to learn how to solve problems and improve their problem-solving skills.
