My Take
PBS Kids is a great and free resource for students, teachers, and parents. Growing up, I was a big fan of PBS network, and I loved playing the games based on the characters from their shows. The website offers different activities kids in Pre-K and elementary school can do, such as playing games that teach skills, watch episodes, listen to music and read E-books. Some of skills students can practice include math, English, social studies, problem solving and social skills. It is also a great website for teachers to use as they could implement some of the games or episodes into their lesson plans. Parents could also use this website as it provides resources and tips on how to help their kids with learning and activities to do as families.
How I Use It
I have used it when I was younger and it was great exposure to different activities.
