My Take
As a first time user, I recommend setting your Padlet to "org only" so that you can see the name of the student that is posting it. Have them click "continue with Google" and use their school login into. I like the "wall" format of the posts. I also recommend my students use the video feature right on Padlet instead of recording it on their phone or computer and then uploading it. That ends up needing my approval before the rest of the class can see their post. To troubleshoot some common issues, I ask them to try different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) if things aren't working as expected the first time.
How I Use It
I use Padlet instead of discussion boards in my college classes to fulfill that interaction component in the courses. It was intuitive to set up and the students seem to know how to use it right away on their own.
