My Take

Padlet is great for so many things, such as starting a conversation, sharing opinions, responding to a question and much more. I like how quick and easy it is to get started (and the fact that it's free). The element that I like the most is the fact that I can engage all students with Padlet. I'm able to quickly gather an entire classroom full of responses rather than a few.

How I Use It

I've used Padlet as a way for students to make predictions, pose a question and elicit feedback, and respond to text. Padlet is very easy to get up and running on both the teacher side and the student side. The teacher simply needs to create a free account and share the Padlet (virtual wall) with students (via link, embed, etc). What's not so great about Padlet? Students could type something salty that's instantly visible to your class, so make sure you have a conversation about what kind of language should be shared on the Padlet wall.
