My Take
The engaging app allows children to practice their math fluency skills. With this in mind, I enjoy the enthusiasm of students as they practice their skills. I didn't like the limited number of users (three) for this app, so it really is challenging to track progress when the devices are shared. The students choose the challenge, so for some students it may be difficult to use. Overall, the engagement of the students really made this a great activity for practice.
How I Use It
I have used this product to help student develop fluency in their math facts. The students love the spy story lines, background music and the feeling of competition as they race to get all of the facts. The app allows the students to choose an operation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mix of operations) and then complete a "mission" to solve all of the facts before they run out of time. The app also keeps track of the "past missions and training runs".
