My Take
I love how hands-on this app is. I showed my niece this app and she was able to quickly learn how to give instructions to the character. She doesn't know it yet, but she has the potential to become an exceptional coder.
I like how it's challenging but it's not impossible. Kids won't get discouraged from this, but it won't be too easy for them either. It's the balance of both. I like how they can learn what each button does. If they see that their sprite is moving clockwise, then they will be able to know what clockwise movement is.
How I Use It
I would use this app for younger kids. I'd start off by getting them to basic instructions. After that I would make it gradually harder until they're able to create a mini game. I would have the students play each other's games so they can learn from each other.
