My Take
What I really liked about NOVA is that it is very user friendly and all of the videos are very entertaining and engaging. Moreover, there are thousands of videos to watch and they also aren't boring. They are not like the typical National Geographic, insanely boring documentaries. Would totally recommend.
How I Use It
In the classroom I would use this website as a further learning type of deal. I would assign students to watch any video that they might find interesting that pertains to the class material and ask them to write a little bit about it.

NOVA for Science- It Works!
The images are amazing! The site has a lot of information, sometimes too much to see at once, so I went through the site and assigned the students the areas I wanted them to work on. The first time I went through the site it took the longest time, after that I could work quickly to assign the work to students. I used Schoology to assign the work, because the students expect to use the LMS and they do not need another log in. All of my students were enagged by the images and videos, but it rerally helped with my ELL's and lower level students. NOVA brought something far away to them.

The very best of science made in Boston from 'GBH for PBS!!!
Yep, very recommended. Also we recommend the DVD collection (also some Blu-Rays) of this programme, available at ShopPBS.org (purchases support PBS). This Friday, March 3rd, 2017, #novapbs turns 43. It was first aired that date in 1974.
