I love the structure! Having constant unique mysteries is a great way to keep students engaged. Being able to have a hands on experience after talking about the mystery completes the lesson perfectly.

My Take

I think that this is great! I know students will be focused on whatever mystery is at hand and by having somewhat random mysteries to learn about will keep students on their toes. I really liked the structure of how the mystery will be solved by the class with a conclusion of a hands on learning excercise.

How I Use It

I have not used this with students but this seems like a great way to create excitement in a classroom. I would most likely end the class with something like this to keep my students engaged in wahtever is needed to do before. This would be used as somewhat of a reward.
