As a Pre AP Algebra 2 teacher. it's hard to find apps applicable to content and rigor I teach. Also - some of the animations of apps I've tried to use have not went over well with my students (elementary, non engaging at their level). If you are looking for a simple to follow resource, Mathinary is a great reference for math students.
How I Use It
During tutorials/centers/re-teach time in class, this is a great reference tool about math. I also used it during independent work for the order of operations game with 6th graders

Better suited for older students
Overall, Mathinary is more of a resource tool for students who may need to quickly locate how to solve a problem. Solutions and formulas can assist students in their understanding, but the overall user friendliness of the app prevents it from becoming a stand by tool for students. There are other tools available that offer a richer experience.
