My Take
I really do love this resource! My students always come back after the state test and say their Algebra Nation Test Yourself quizzes prepared them for the state test. I like the ease of accessing Teacher Resources such as the mini assessments, independent practice, scaffolding information, and boot camp materials. I like that students can ask questions on the wall after school hours to get additional help. I like that there are multiple study experts for the students to be able to pick who they best learn from. Overall, I’m really glad my students have access to this resource.
How I Use It
I have used this resource since our school first adopted it five years ago. Previously I used it as remediation and enrichment tools. Even if I didn’t assign the videos, I used mini assessments and independent practice. This year with virtual and hybrid learning, I have used videos, check your understanding, and the test yourself features. It has been extra helpful and beneficial to my students.
