My Take
There are many tools available for kids to write and create their own Comic Books. This website has widespread appeal and is easy to use. Students can quickly design a simple storyboard and publish within minutes.
How I Use It
I used this lesson with 4th grade students to assess their understanding of CyberBullying when we held our Digital Citizenship week at our school. Students were asked to create a 3 or 4-panel comic that demonstrated how they could respond to a cyberbully that would result in a positive outcome. Students loved the many options for characters and backgrounds that this free site offered.
