My Take
LiveSchool has been an integral tool for our building and community. Teacher and students have displayed buy-in, while keeping positive reinforcement of expected/outstanding behaviors consistent and frequent. From this, we have been able to lower the number of referrals and suspensions within our building. Additionally, we have received positive feedback from our families, as they appreciate the more frequent communication (recaps) of their student(s) doing great things. We look forward to continuing our partnership with LiveSchool, as they are always looking for constructive criticism to allow their program to evolve.
How I Use It
During this past school year, we have implemented LiveSchool at a building (6-8) level. The LiveSchool app has allowed our teachers to increase our ratio for positive reinforcement, while outlining expected behaviors that correlate directly with our building matrices. Furthermore, there is an added advantage to provide rapid rewards/reinforcement through the LiveSchool Store.
