Legends of Learning offers a wide range of games covering math and science content, making it a valuable resource for reinforcing knowledge. The platform is visually appealing and includes a motivating currency system to keep students engaged. However, the games lean more towards gamification rather than true game-based learning, which means the content application can be shallow at times.

How I Use It

Legends of Learning can serve as an engaging supplement to my math and science curriculum. I would use it to create custom playlists with games, videos, and assessments for my students to reinforce their understanding of various topics. I could also use the Awakening game to motivate students by setting a focus on specific standards, allowing for a more self-directed learning experience.

Entertaining, Engaging, and Educational

I think Legends of Learning is really fun and can be a great resource for children to practice what they've learned through these games. There are many different kinds of games available that cover many different topics which is perfect for a gen ed teacher. The kids have to answer a couple of questions before moving on the game, perfect for teachers to get a read on how much the students understand.

Educational problems in the site are good in the different grade levels offered. Game could be hard to navigate for younger students

This is a good resource for teaching because of the aesthetic of the game that could engage students and the quality of the math problems. I like the characters and how the game looks visually. I don't like how complicated it is to get around and move and that could take from the enjoyment students have with it, especially younger ones.

Great engaging resource!

I liked how during an activity or challenge there were questions being asked. This way they are more likely to get the question right when trying to win the game. I think the introduction is a bit too long where they are introducing everything about the game, but other than that it is a great tool.
