My Take
I love this as an extra teaching tool. It's a program that the students can do on their own but I can still keep track of their progress and what they are understanding and what they aren't.
How I Use It
We lost our aid in the middle of the year. She was taking small groups for extra phonics work. I found this program and decided to try it out with the students one day to see if they would enjoy it. They have asked to play it every day since. It has been a great addition to our reading groups. The only thing I wish there was that there was an app for the iPads instead of having to go to all the trouble of saving the website to the home screen on every students iPad.

Great literacy website for students!
Something that I love about it is that it's a pretty independent activity. There are a lot of computer programs out there for students where they need my help to get started or answer questions, but Lalilo is straight forward and easy for them to understand. I love that it's a fun game that helps them learn!
