Lalilo is an easy to use program for my 1st graders to use. It covers key literacy skills (phonemic awareness, phonics, sight words, comprehension) so it will complement any literacy program you may be using.

My Take
I like that each student can be practicing skills they need. One student may be working on sight words and comprehension, while others are working on phonics and phonemic awareness. I also like the feedback teachers get from the website. Lalilo keeps track of mistakes students are making so that they can be corrected in the classroom. The program is very easy to use!
How I Use It
I use this product on iPads with 1st graders. There is currently no app, so I help them find the website on the internet.

Great literacy website for students!
Something that I love about it is that it's a pretty independent activity. There are a lot of computer programs out there for students where they need my help to get started or answer questions, but Lalilo is straight forward and easy for them to understand. I love that it's a fun game that helps them learn!
