My Take
Overall I like Lalilo because my students enjoy doing it, yet they are learning. It's very engaging and is helping to build foundational skills. I like that there is a scope and sequence for me to reference, along with a progress board for me to monitor their progress which allows me to see when I may need to provide additional instruction in an area that may be difficult.
I also like that the instructions to send home are very easy to follow and easy for parents to set up. I can monitor how much time students are spending at home working on the program as well.
How I Use It
I have used this with my intervention students as an option to use during independent work time. Rather than working on work that may be to hard, this is an option to work at their level while gaining skills needed to be successful readers.
