Lalilo is a great way to get your kiddos excited about phonics. I teach a large ESOL population and it is really helping them get the extra practice they need. It is a great resource for teachers to gather data and use to drive instruction.

My Take
I think it is a great teaching tool because it not only helps students, but also teachers. It also can be used at home and continue the learning process there.
How I Use It
I use this product for computer centers and then use the data in addition to other data to see where I should focus small group instruction.

Great literacy website for students!
Something that I love about it is that it's a pretty independent activity. There are a lot of computer programs out there for students where they need my help to get started or answer questions, but Lalilo is straight forward and easy for them to understand. I love that it's a fun game that helps them learn!
