My Take
As a teaching cool, I think Lalio is a wonderful new addition to the many different learning apps out there. It allows for students to feel in control of their learning while showing me as the teacher what they really need from the app and what they need to focus on more. I love that the program is fun and engaging as well as extremely effective when teaching new material and practicing material we have already studied.
How I Use It
I use Lalio in a variety of different ways on the classroom. We are a digital learning school and I love that I can use tis during Daily 5 centers or as independent practice for early finishers or support for those who need a little extra time to master a skill. It works with students who are engaged and I haven't found a time when my students did not want to work with the application.
