My Take

This program for college students is very poor. They do not take feed back from students at all when there are very strong inconsistences. They do not tell you to round and yet they expect you to round. The samples given do not always correlate to the question that is being asked. One question they ask you to round and in the next they want you to round without telling you to round. This makes it very difficult for some students to understand what it is they are asking for. Students spend more time on areas they should not be spending time on when they had followed the initial instructions of NOT rounding, when the program actually wants them to round. This program makes students very frustrated when they do not make the instructions clear. Statistics is the worst when it comes to this program. We are on sections 2.1-2.5 and they do a very poor job of explanations and then the homework assignments for 2.3.

How I Use It

I would not use the program for Statistics for college students at all. This program cannot take the place of a physical teacher teaching the subject. Have seen a lot of conflicting information when it comes to teaching. The program expects you to round where you should not be rounding or the program wants you not to round where you should be rounding. This does not help students at all.
