My Take

I appreciate its accessibility, and how it always reaches to facilitate higher levels of the SAMR model. (Mostly level M, since it doesn't redefine the way you test). The vibrant colors and bright pallet provide a sense of sugar filled joy and entertainment while the kids learn. My colleagues praise this platform for being engaging and allowing students to be pulled in. The primary function of this tool is assessment, whether that is before or after a lesson is up to the individual. A tool is only is as good as the assessment you program into it, and should not be used as a comprehensive profile of students strengths and weaknesses. The difficulty of a given question will determine what order of higher level thinking you want your cohort to achieve, the tool will not do that for you. Overall 81/100, with deductions mainly for it being a single modality and a bit too elementary. (Such is the grade range however)

How I Use It

This (at a secondary level) is perfect for review sessions and review days. Depth of content depends on the program of study and the grade level. It previews the college style clicker question with a colorful style. The teacher is the one responsible for setting up relevant content and question difficulty/number. Depending on how you use it, can reach the R level in the SAMR model.
