My Take
Kahoot took my students by storm. We had used a similar tool throughout the year, but I had never seen them as engaged as I did with Kahoot. The competition aspect of the game had the students at the edge of their seats. After I introduced it, the students would come to class as ask for Kahoot. I also noticed that students who had struggled in all the previous summative assessments made gains after we reviewed with Kahoot. This is definitely a tool that I will continue to implement in my practice!
How I Use It
I used this product to review for summative assessments as well as a formative assessment tool. As a formative assessment, I used Kahoot for entry and exit tickets, and as a check for understanding throughout the lesson.

Real-time feedback and analytics
When my professors used Kahoot in class, it was a lot of fun and really helped me learn the material. best for quiz preparation. It's a very enjoyable and simple way to get ready for exams.

A fun interactive competition for students!
There isn't much that I don't like about Kahoot. It is such a great digital tool for students to study, learn, and become experts in certain topics due to how fun it is, while also being a way in which they are still doing work. Instead of a critique, I do have a suggestion for the app however! I wish Kahoot would have an option where students can team up and answer questions in that manner. This would allow students not only to want to learn and study more, but also incorporate a means of them communicating with their classmates.
