My Take

This has been a great tool to get kids excited about a topic or as a fun way to review. It manages to keep students attention the entire time and they do love the challenge of answering in a correct, timely manner for points. Kahoot does lack a lot of higher level questions and could easily focus on just the competitive aspect, however, this tool is a must for generating some excitement that can then be transitioned into a higher level learning experience.

How I Use It

My classes have used this resource as both an intro to a new lesson/unit to assess their prior knowledge and as a quick review to see what information they have retained from a lesson. If you're using it for the first time with a class it's probably best to review a lesson so a little more time can be spent on the initial log in and walking the kids through the process (which is really easy). After the classes became more familiar with program we will use it as a quick intro, knowledge check, or review after a lesson.
