My Take
It is competitive and fun for the kids. It cannot be used all the time or the students will no longer find it exciting. It is just another form of a quiz, but I have noticed that the kids like it because it is different.
How I Use It
This is great to use to get the students engaged quickly. You can use this at the beginning of class as a "bellringer". It engages the students and surprisingly the students will become excited about scoring the points and will want to be in class on time. the students would come into the class and use their phones or ipods/ipads and immediately be able to start the quiz. This was a quick way for us to review the information already covered or for me to assess who did their homework.

Not very helpfull without pro version
It is a good learning tool, very intuitive and easy to use. On the other hand, they constantly decrease the character limit or functionalities for free users. Overall, the app is not so financially inclusive for lower income students. Have a nice day

Engaging, interactive review
Kahoot! helps student practice fast-paced recall as they race to be the first to answer correctly, giving them points and pushing them higher up on the leaderboard. Kahoot! also forces teachers to manually move on to the next question, giving them a chance to discuss the question and/or take student questions. Additionally, Kahoot!'s leaderboard displays the top 5 players after each question, but does not expose the positions of students lower, and even provides an anonymous player option if teachers wish to use this feature. Kahoot! consistently provides an engaging form of learning and review for students.

Engaging way to review and study!
Kahoot is a brilliant platform for students, especially when reviewing a lesson learned or studying for a test. It essentially is an interactive group study session, where teachers and educators can personalize their own Kahoots to fit into their lesson plans. It's free, easy-to-use, and kids love it! As a middle schooler, we were introduced to Kahoot and I still think it's one of the best ways to review for a test in a fun, stress-free way--giving kids the opportunity to apply what they learned in a competitive game.
