Overall; Mediocre. It is fine in some ways but not the best when it comes to kids.

My Take

I like it. It puts you through a challenge, things like that can help you progress. Do the kids like it, no. They say it makes them stressed and mad, one student remarked; "It makes me wanna' throw the computer to the wall." The only thing i didn't like was the secret word, students will come and ask you to see what their secret word is all the time. I know it's for privacy reasons, but this is a k-12 learning app. It got so bad that I had to write the words on a sticky note. Overall it's alright. Other than the sad point system, that needs fixing.

How I Use It

We have used this in the past, the students wanted back Lexia Power up. I would be able to use words problems for them with a more cleared, kid friendly way. I would make them do it on their own for 30 minutes to an hour every other day, most of my students disliked it and would talk instead. In English I would copy the problems in IXL and put them on my docs since the students like when I taught them English. Overall it all worked, well not for the students.
