My Take
Even though the website is aesthetically “pretty”, it’s confusing to navigate. I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to assign practice questions to my students. After a while I had to give up since it was taking too much time. This website provides a tutorial but I think it needs to go a bit deeper, unless assigning practice exercises isn’t a feature of this site. I was greatly disappointed with the user experience because they advertise “personalized learning”, but I wasn’t able to personalize anything that would help meet specific student needs.
How I Use It
I was very excited to find this site for a few reasons. It has lessons which already have standards incorporated into them. Also, it provides lesson ideas for standards that need to be covered. The feature that increases the difficulty level of the mathematics problems is great because it can challenge students who might already feel comfortable with the content. It was not difficult to create an account, from the teachers point of view.
