My Take

I have to be honest, my students didn't like this app and neither did I. There are no directions and it's hard to figure out what exactly some of the lessons are about. I didn't like the number tracing activity. The graphics are okay but there is no music and nothing flashy to gain the students attention.

How I Use It

I've tried to use it with my lowest level students in my special education life skills/autism classroom but it just hasn't clicked with any of my students. Perhaps you need to have a Montessori background to appreciate the simplicity of this app.

A Comprehensive Introduction to 0-10

This app introduces numbers zero through ten in a variety of Montessori inspired ways, including having students trace numbers, number lines, and manipulatives. The app has a lot of built-in scaffolding, so activities are introduced in sequence and get progressively harder and there are audio instructions and guidance throughout each activity to help younger learners who need reminders and support. I think this app is a great way for students to be introduced to these numbers and to explore and practice learning more about them.
