My Take
Our school board has used Hapara for 7 years. Every educator leveraged the WORKSPACE component during the Covid remote learning phases. So many instructors don't know how they lived without it. It's a simple and easy to use tool which works in conjunction with the content we already have in Google Workspace. This tool was the one-stop-shop for families to view tasks and activities from every teacher. The student dashboard helps students organize tasks via upcoming and over due work.
Teachers can post links to other sites to make navigation to other tools and activities part of the workflow of the Workspace.
I would love to see a discussion tool in Hapara in the future.
How I Use It
Hapara is a suite of tools that can help enhance the learning experience of all students in a classroom. It provides easy ways to differentiate for different learning levels, assists guidance around the internet (with filtered and focused browsing sessions), facilitates the distribution of digital group work and houses work submitted via Google Workspace in one location for easy organization for assessment and evaluation. It's a great space to provide the sites and activities for small groups so teachers can work with the groups who need additional support.
