My Take
While you can easily dive right into using the highlights features and dashboard, there is a bit of a learning curve for the workspace feature. I especially like the guided browsing and the ability to save time by quickly opening a website for my students. Also, the ability to see student work and provide feedback on documents that have been submitted yet is awesome, especially for students who may struggle complete work in time. Overall it is a fantastic tool, but it is important to train teachers up front so that they can use it more efficiently and effectively. Fortunately there is also a strong online community for support as well.
How I Use It
Hapara is multi-faceted - I can use it to design blended learning experiences, as a tool for teaching students responsible online behavior, differentiation, and even helping students find those “missing” assignments in their google drive. It integrates with google classroom and the student dashboard can help students with time management and organization, especially for middle school and high school!
