My Take
The programs have developed immensely since they were first introduced a few years ago, and I would say they are the strongest tool for Chromebooks. They recently launched a real-time screen viewer for student devices, which is huge. I cannot imagine us doing the work we do without Hapara!
How I Use It
At our school, we use Hapara and Hapara Workspace to support our students use of technology and to differentiate their learning.
Each teacher has a Hapara account for their classroom, which they use to monitor student activity on the computer. They also use it to push out documents, share links, and send messages to students.
We use Hapara workspace to offer students individualized practice in content like math and writing. We've also used it in our writing instruction to narrow the feedback loop between a student writing something and the teacher responding with feedback.
