My Take

I believe that Google Keep is a no-brainer to use, especially if you are someone that works in a Google Apps for Education district. An app that is free and can be used across platforms and devices for note-taking, peer collaboration, and professional development purposes.

How I Use It

Google Keep is such a simplistic tool to utilize when it comes to keeping students on the ball with whatever project they are working on. I use it to create lists to share with my students and colleagues so they can follow up on the learning or a resource I want them to check out. In typical Google fashion, Keep allows the user to create labels which can really help when those notes start to build up and you are searching for something that is related to that category. Users also have the option to set a location to remind them about something specific they need to do, grab, or just take note of. This option alone makes it a great tool for those forgetful students we have in our classrooms!
