My Take

Google Keep is a great tool to use in real-life to work on executive functioning, like organization/time-management. The sharing component allows more people to work through tasks for a project or to keep others informed of individual progress. I think this tool is great for teaching organization/time-management to students. However, I don't know that I have found a way to utilize for instruction/engagement.

How I Use It

I use this product daily in my life to keep track of my to-do lists and never be without reminders. Before Google Keep, I would have important notes on sticky notes. However, it always seemed that when I needed that note, it was on my desk and not with me. Google Keep could be used to create to-do lists for students. This could be for daily homework and/or projects. The notes can be shared with other Google users. You could keep track of tasks that students had completed by having them check off items that are complete. Students can upload images or text. This item has less options than notes where you can write on images, etc. However, it does allow you to access from any device (which notes can if you back up to the cloud versus store it on your phone).
