A tool to start going paperless in the classroom.
Community Review for Google Drive
My Take
Google Drive is a great tool to start going paperless in the classroom. Not only is it a good collaboration tool between educators it is also a great tool to have in the classroom. I like the ease of the product and how simple it is to work with. It's very user friendly. You're able to create documents right in drive or upload them into drive from your computer. I like how it has different options of things you can create. You can create a word processing document, spreadsheet, form, etc. It is a great tool for students to use because it saves all work that the students complete. It saves the work for you and it is in one central location.
How I Use It
I use Google Drive mostly for forms right now. I create many different forms for the students to use. Some of them are simple surveys. Some I've used for them to turn in their choice on a research topic so I have a copy. I've also used it for assignments in class. There have been times I've put their warm-up in a form and had them complete it. Their exit ticket or assignment questions have been on there as well. It is a great tool to have because all of their responses are saved in spreadsheet form for me to look at or print later for records.
