If you had to use just one edtech tool, go with Google Drive
Community Review for Google Drive
My Take
Google Drive has tons of tools built into one simple sign-on. Once students have a Gmail account, they have access to creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, surveys, drawings, and much more using Google Drive. The best part: the tools Google Drive offers can all be used collaboratively.
How I Use It
I use Google Drive to share documents with students and to track their work. I create assignments using Doctopus, which is an amazing Google Drive tool well worth some research. It automatically creates a copy of a document for each individual student (or group) and shares it with you so you can track student progress. We use Google Drive every day in class to take notes, complete handouts and worksheets, document research, organize ideas, and more. Google Drive is simply the best - and free!
